What Is Embodied Movement?

Embodied movement is the practice of reconnecting with your body through awareness, strength, mobility, breath, and self-expression.

Rather than forcing your body to perform, you learn to listen.

Rather than chasing perfection, you learn to explore.

Rather than exercising against your body, you learn to move with it.

The result is greater strength, freedom, confidence, resilience, and trust in yourself.

This is movement designed not only to help you feel better today, but to support your body for decades to come.

Hi, I'm Lisa

For over twenty years, I worked in New York City as a fitness trainer and rehabilitation specialist, helping clients build strength, overcome injuries, and move more effectively.

With a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, my work was rooted in movement science, anatomy, and long-term physical well-being.

Yet over time, I discovered that movement could be about far more than exercise.

What began as training evolved into a deeper exploration of mobility, self-expression, awareness, and embodiment.

Today, I help women reconnect with their bodies through a compassionate approach that blends strength training, mobility, somatic awareness, primal movement, and embodied practice.

My mission is simple:

To help women build strength, move with freedom, and embody the woman they are.
