This is a community building program for courageous women

Hi! I’m Lisa

and I’m passionate about sharing the healing power of joyful movement.

After spending 20 years as a fitness trainer and rehabilitation specialist in New York City, I decided to follow my intuition and set off on an empowering journey and life in Costa Rica. By this time, I had learned from many of the top movement coaches in the world and I had earned my master’s degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, driven by a lifelong curiosity about how movement can heal and transform us from the inside out.

For many years, I followed a traditional academic and fitness path, but it was only when I embraced a more diverse and playful physical practice that I truly discovered the profound beauty of embodied movement. This journey led me to Costa Rica, where I found not only a stunning physical landscape but a sacred playground for healing and playing. The beaches and natural surroundings here have allowed my practice—and my connection to body and spirit—to evolve into something truly transformative. Through these experiences, I’ve come to see how movement can heal the body, quiet the mind, and nourish the soul, helping us live our most authentic and joyous lives.

My practice is deeply rooted in the feminine essence—tapping into that well of intuitive wisdom and energy that we all carry within us. It’s about shedding societal norms, letting go of inhibitions, and giving ourselves the freedom to move and be as we are. Through movement, we can release what no longer serves us and fully embrace the power of being authentic, vibrant, and free.

If you’re ready to explore a new, transformative way of moving—one that will heal, empower, and bring joy into every corner of your life—I would love to guide you on this incredible journey.

F.A.Qs

What if I’m not moving that much these days?

No problem! This mentorship program is designed for all levels, whether you’re just starting or looking to deepen your practice. Our supportive community will help you feel comfortable and empowered to move at your own pace.

What if I’m not that fit right now?

Fitness is a journey, not a destination. This program focuses on embracing your body as it is, promoting gentle movement that enhances strength and mobility. You’ll find encouragement every step of the way.

What should I wear for classes?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.   Whether it’s yoga pants, shorts, or a bodysuit, just make sure you feel comfortable and nothing is really hanging off to you as we move around.  And no shoes are required.

Can I participate if I have injuries or limitations?

Yes! We encourage you to listen to your body and modify movements as needed. It’s essential to communicate any concerns, and our community is here to support you in finding what works best for you.

How do I access the on-demand library?

Once you sign up, you’ll receive login details to our online platform. Approve emails from info@lisachaves.com to make sure you don’t miss any important information.

What do I need to participate in the classes?

All you need is a little space in your home, outdoors, or anywhere that allows you to safely move around. Make sure your area is clear of any obstacles, have some good Wi-Fi, and you’re set. A bottle of water is always a good idea to stay hydrated, and come ready to move, explore, and have fun!
